We are proud to say that our Bambi girl was adopted today. Her new home will provide her with lots of fun, exercise, interesting smells, tasty treats and of course all the LOVE that she can possibly handle. She has promised us she will do minimal chewing, and only on pre-approved items. (We have encouraged her to keep practicing "puppy eyes" just in case.)
In the next few days, we'll post a final set of photos of the cutest hound in the world.
Bambi will always have a place in our hearts, but we are very happy that she is now safe and sound in her forever home. Fare thee well, pup! Don't forget to write!

Homeward bound?
Bambi, being a perceptive hound, has caught the whiff of a rumor that a wonderful change is coming. Yes, it's true! Our sweet foster girl has found a great forever home, and will shortly be on her way. We are very excited for her.
In preparation, Bambi has been diligent in practicing what she has learned from her many hours of training, though she readily admits that the whole "good morning! time to get up!" thing remains a mystery, and an entirely uninteresting one at that. :)
We'll post more a few more photos yet, because really, how could we resist?
